Blue came from a neglect case and had a hard past but now he's safe and looking for his forever human. Blue is very loving, very protective and very large. He doesn't need a large yard but does need a home that will let him be an inside dog and can handle his size and his shedding.
Blue does have a resource guarding issue so needs a home that understands LGDs (this is a very common issue with livestock guardian dog breds) and that won't be afraid of him, some find his size intimidating and he is smart enough to use that to his advantage.
Adoption Information
Blue is available for adoption or fostering. He is current on his vaccinations and heartworm preventatives and is a good fit for a home that understands Great Pyrenees and/or other livestock guardian breeds, some of his behaviors are very typical for LGDs. He is mostly laid back and wants to be with his people 24/7 and loves car rides. He has beeen free in the house with multiple dogs while with us but he can be a bully about food so would need to be fed alone.
